In the past 30 years, I have counseled many children who bully, are bullied and silently watch bullying. 19 years ago I developed a specialty in bullying prevention and intervention by researching the topic, developing materials and giving workshops throughout New England.
My most recent book Empowering Children to Help Stop Bullying at School: A curriculum for grades three and up, was published by Character Development Group Inc., in 2009.

Earlier publications include Stop Bullying at School: A curriculum for grades five to eight (self published, 1997) and “Preventing Bullying and Namecalling,” in Early Childhood Adventures in Peacemaking: A Conflict Resolution Activity Guide for Early Childhood Educators, Work/Family Directions and Educators for Social Responsibility, 1999.
I provide consultation for adults and for parents whose children bully and are bullied. Titles of some workshops I teach are “Empowering Children to Help Stop Bullying at School” and “What to do about bullying in early childhood programs?”
I am passionate about helping individuals and families heal from the effects of bullying and be safe.
