In the past 40 years, Carol has counseled many individuals who bully, are bullied and silently watch bullying. 24 years ago she developed a specialty in bullying prevention and intervention by researching the topic, developing materials and giving workshops throughout New England.
Her book Empowering Children to Help Stop Bullying at School: A curriculum for grades three and up, was published by Character Development Group Inc., in 2009.

Earlier publications include Stop Bullying at School: A curriculum for grades five to eight (self published, 1997) and “Preventing Bullying and Namecalling,” in Early Childhood Adventures in Peacemaking: A Conflict Resolution Activity Guide for Early Childhood Educators, Work/Family Directions and Educators for Social Responsibility, 1999.
Carol provides consultation for adults and for parents whose children bully and are bullied. Titles of some workshops she teaches are “Empowering Children to Help Stop Bullying at School” and “What to do about bullying in early childhood programs?”
She is passionate about helping individuals and families heal from the effects of bullying and be safe.
